About the Band
Who We Are
Gaetano and the Hummingbirds is a Milan-based swing band built to play live. Fronted by singer Gaetano — also known solo as Gaetano the Crooner — and backed by piano, drums, double bass, and trumpet, the band performs the classic swing repertoire that filled dance floors from the 1930s through the 1960s, brought to life for today's audiences.
Where We Play
The band has performed live at venues of national and international standing — including Nidaba Theatre, Spirit de Milan, and Castello Bevilacqua. Based in Milan and active across Lombardy — from Lecco to Varese, Bergamo to Brescia — Gaetano and the Hummingbirds play weddings, corporate and hotel events, swing-dance festivals and socials, and private celebrations across Italy and Europe.
What We Bring
We bring the elegance and energy of Swing's golden age to the stage — the Italian and international classics that defined the era, a natural fit for a vintage-inspired or Gatsby-style celebration as much as a modern wedding reception. Available for private and corporate events, celebrations, and settings of every scale, we bring the same professionalism, polish, and performance quality to each one.
